About Me

Teaching Kindergarten has been my dream since I was a kindergartner. The Lord has blessed me so much to allow me to live my dream while I pursue His glory. After college, I left small town Alabama to teach in a private, Christian, inner city school. My school is extremely low cost and is mostly funded by donors. The majority of the students we service are African refugees. I am entering into my fifty year and I am in love with my job and in love with my school! Because I am the only K teacher at my school, the teacher blogging world became my support group. After teaching for a few years, I decided to take part in it by blogging myself! My hope is that through blogging and Teachers Pay Teachers I would be able to supplement my income and remain teaching at my school.

When I'm not teaching or blogging I like being at the pool, playing with my yorkie, Deeohgee, baking, crafting, shopping, climbing, and spending time with my family and friends. I can pretty much survive on Pancho's Cheese Dip and Mountain Dew. Anything else you want to know, just ask!
